Triads Demolition
Main Content
Allen, Boomer and Wright Halls, commonly referred to as the Triads, were constructed in 1964. Each hall consisted of three inter-connected four story structures with a partially below grade basement. The living areas were double occupancy dorm style rooms with common area baths located off the hallways. While routine maintenance occurred over the lifetime of the facilities, major renovations were necessary to meet code requirements. Allen, Boomer and Wright were taken off-line as residence halls in 2011 and the demolition was completed in 2012.
