The project resurfaced Saluki Drive (the main entry road to the SIU Arena and Saluki Stadium), from US Route 51 to the intersection of Douglas Drive and parking lot 52 which is located on Douglas Drive southwest of the Arena. The parking lot work included the replacement of light fixtures and the infrastructure for the installation of security cameras.
The design was completed with in-house resources and Asaturian Eaton and Associates and the construction bid was awarded to E. T. Simonds Construction Company.
